Praise, My Soul, The God Of Heaven – SATB – Choral Score

Opening in a quiet flourish that quickly escalates to a fanfare, the piece soon emerges into a new tune to the John Bode hymn text “O Jesus, I Have Promised.” Yet this is also part of the introduction that launches into Laude Anima hymn, “Praise My Soul, the God of Heaven.” While both hymns continue to have a presence in the end Laude Anima steals the limelight and the anthem concludes with a stunning ending.
