The Circle – SATB – Choral Score

The Edwin Markham poem ”Outwitted” provides the clever story about a circle that shut others out, but how Love drew a larger circle that took all in. Allan Petker’s setting uses gentle choral textures to whirl about and paint the words in song. The music fits for high school or college, but the text speaks to the sacred choir as well.
