Triumphant Blessing – SATB – Choral Score

Based on the hymn “O Fili Et Filiae” (better known as a 15th century French tune, and hymn “O Sons and Daughters, Let Us Sing!”), we find new words by Fred Pratt Green. Composed with organ and handbell accompaniment, the musical demands are significant. But the artistry of colors and counterpoint, mixed with subtle harmonic shifts and modern dissonances, is refreshing and reflective. It is anthem of commemoration.
